Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I got my first taste of photography in high school, the "old fashioned way", taking black and white photos with SLR cameras and developing the film and printing in a darkroom. Ahhh, the smell of sulphur! I fought the digital transition for a long time and just began with a digital SLR in 2007. I love the instant gratification. But, I do miss the way you owned a print once you spent hours in the darkroom tweaking it. Although by profession I am an attorney, photography is my escape from the stress. I can take my camera and go on walk and come back with a hundred shots. Converting some of my shots to digital has brought back great memories. I also enjoy the special effects you can edit in -- for example, making a photograph look...
